Why Soaking Skewers Matters: Prevent Charring for Perfectly Grilled Dishes

Soaking skewers in water before grilling is a simple yet effective step that helps prevent them from charring during cooking. Wooden skewers are prone to burning over high heat, which can compromise the flavor and presentation of your dishes. By soaking them for at least 30 minutes, you allow the wood to absorb moisture, creating a barrier that reduces the likelihood of flames and scorching. This extra precaution ensures that your chicken skewers cook evenly and maintain their integrity, allowing you to focus on enjoying the delicious, spicy flavors without worrying about the skewers ruining the experience. Plus, it's an easy tip that can make a significant difference in the outcome of your grilled creations!

Storing and Reheating Made Easy with the Masterbuilt Gravity Series

Storing and reheating your chicken skewers is a breeze when you use the Masterbuilt Gravity Series. After your BBQ, allow the skewers to cool down before placing them in an airtight container in the refrigerator, where they can be stored for up to three days. When you're ready to enjoy them again, simply preheat your Gravity Series grill to a medium heat. Reheat the skewers directly on the grill for about 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even warming. The innovative design of the Gravity Series helps maintain consistent heat, making it easy to revive the smoky flavor and juicy texture of the chicken without drying it out. This way, you can savor the deliciousness of your grilled skewers even on busy weeknights!
