These Peach and Amaretto Smoked Meatballs are the perfect balance of savory, smoky, and sweet. Combine meat, bread crumbs, salt pepper, onion, paprika, garlic and parmesan in a bowl and mix well.

Roll meatballs into approximately 16 large meatballs or 24 smaller ones. Generously cover in BBQ dry rub.

Place meatballs on the smoker on main rack at 250 degrees. Turn as needed. Smoke for 2-3 hours.

While meatballs are smoking, prepare the sauce in a pot. (Either on a stove or I place it on the smoker up heat up for that smoked flavor).

Mix a jar of peach preserves, 1/2 cup of butter, brown sugar, amaretto and cayenne pepper in a pot and heat until boiling, remove from heat.

Move meatballs into an aluminum pan and pour the glaze over them. Place back in the smoker and smoke for another hour. Sauce will thicken as it smokes.

Remove meatballs from the pan and place back on main rack and smoke an additional 30 minutes, glaze the meatballs as they smoke with thickened sauce using a brush.

Remove and let cool for ten minutes in pan with remaining sauce.
