This Peach Bourbon Glazed Ham is a showstopper at any gathering. Smoked with cherry wood and glazed with a rich, sweet bourbon and peach preserve mixture, this ham delivers a perfect balance of smoky and fruity flavors. The result is a juicy, tender ham with a caramelized crust.

Instructions

  1. 01

Start by spraying your ham with a light coating of spray oil. Then, generously season it with your favorite BBQ rub, ensuring an even coverage across the entire ham.

  2. 02

Preheat your smoker to 250°F, adding cherry wood chunks for a sweet, smoky flavor. Place the ham on the smoker and cook until the internal temperature reaches 125°F. This should take around 2-3 hours depending on the size of your ham.

  3. 03

While the ham is smoking, prepare the glaze. In a medium saucepan, pour in two double shots of bourbon and bring to a medium-high heat. Add the jar of peach preserves, whisking to combine. Stir in 2 tablespoons of your preferred BBQ rub and the glaze packet that came with the ham. Continue to simmer until the glaze thickens slightly, about 10-15 minutes.

  4. 04

Once the ham reaches an internal temperature of 125°F, generously brush the Peach Bourbon Glaze over the entire surface of the ham. Return the ham to the smoker and continue cooking for another 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F.

  5. 05

Remove the ham from the smoker and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice and serve with additional glaze if desired.

MASTER IT.

There's an app for that.
