Dr. Pepper Glazed Rib Sliders

Ingredients

  • Main

  • Dr. Pepper BBQ Sauce

Sweet, smoky, and downright delicious, these Dr. Pepper Glazed Rib Sliders bring big BBQ flavor in a bite-sized package. The Gravity Series® 1150 Digital Charcoal Grill and Smoker locks in that rich charcoal-smoked taste, while the sticky-sweet glaze takes things to the next level. Perfect for game day, cookouts, or whenever you’re craving ribs in a whole new way.

Instructions

  1. 01

Using a sharp knife, carefully trim off the top bones from the spareribs, leaving a boneless slab of meat for easy slicing. Generously season all sides with your favorite sweet BBQ rub, ensuring even coverage for maximum flavor.

  2. 02

Preheat your gravity-fed smoker to 180°F. Place the seasoned ribs on the smoker and let them absorb the smoky goodness for 2 hours, allowing the flavors to develop while the meat begins to tenderize.

  3. 03

After 2 hours, raise the smoker temperature to 250°F. Continue smoking the ribs, basting them every hour with your favorite BBQ sauce or Dr. Pepper glaze to build layers of sweet, sticky flavor.

  4. 04

Let the ribs cook until they reach an internal temperature of 195-203°F, or until the meat is tender and juicy. The basting will help create a caramelized, flavorful crust on the ribs.

  5. 05

Once done, remove the ribs from the smoker and let them rest for 15 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute. Slice the ribs into slider-sized portions, then serve on soft buns with extra sauce, pickles, and slaw for the perfect bite!

MASTER IT.

There's an app for that.
