Ingredients

  • Main

Part of the "Flavors of the Fire" series, these Honey Lime Wings are a perfect blend of sweet and tangy flavors, smoked to perfection on the AutoIgnite using cherry wood. Seasoned with your favorite barbecue rub and an SPG rub, these wings are then tossed in a delicious honey lime sauce with a hint of chili.

Instructions

  1. 01

Season your chicken wings with an SPG rub and then hit them with your favorite barbecue rub.

  2. 02

Set your Auto Ignite smoker to 300°F and add cherry wood for smoking.

  3. 03

Place the wings on the smoker and cook until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.

  4. 04

While your wings are smoking, combine ½ cup of soy sauce, 1 cup of honey, the juice of one large lime, lime zest, 1 tbsp of chili flakes, and 1 tbsp of chili powder in a pan.

  5. 05

Bring the mixture to a rolling boil and let it boil for approximately 2 minutes.

  6. 06

    Allow the sauce to cool.

  7. 07

Once the wings are done, toss them in the honey lime sauce.

  8. 08

    Serve immediately and enjoy!
